2 Hospitalized In San Francisco High-Rise Fire
Both injured people were taken to a hospital, while two others were evaluated at the scene, according to the San Francisco Fire Department.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A residential high-rise fire in San Francisco's Tenderloin District sent two people to the hospital, the San Francisco Fire Department said Sunday, after initially reporting that only one person was injured.
Firefighters were called to the 300 block of Turk Street at 6:50 a.m. after reports of a fire coming from a residential unit.
The fire department initially said the fire was brought under control at about 8 a.m. but later said the flames were contained by about 7:25 a.m.

Both injured people were taken to a hospital, while two others were medically evaluated at the scene and declined further treatment, according to the fire department.
Fire investigators were called to the scene to determine the cause.
