3 Accused Fentanayl Dealers Charged In SF

Police say they found over 500 grams of fentanyl in their vehicle and $71,000 in cash at a residence linked to them.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Three Oakland residents accused of trafficking fentanyl in San Francisco were charged Monday, according to prosecutors.

Patricia Cruz-Ramirez, 21, Marvin Licona, 33, and Luis Velasquez, 34, all pleaded not guilty to
the transportation, sale and furnishing of a controlled substance and possession for sale or purchase of a controlled substance, prosecutors said.

The trio were arrested in February after a traffic stop in San Francisco, where police allege they found over 500 grams of fentanyl in the vehicle. A search warrant for a residence linked to the defendants also allegedly uncovered over $71,000 in cash.

All three remain in jail pending trial, though Cruz-Ramirez has a bail set at $100,000.
