SAN FRANCISCO — A 34-year-old man was charged with felony narcotics trafficking and related charges for allegedly furnishing drugs in the city's SoMa neighborhood.

Francisco Rivas-Garay is accused of selling controlled substances, possession of more than an ounce of fentanyl, and possession of methamphetamine. He pleaded not guilty, the San Francisco District Attorney's Office said in a press release Monday.

He was already facing three prior felony narcotics cases that are still pending, after being arrested in December on similar charges, according to the DA's Office.

He was again released on his own recognizance while the new charges progress. He is due back in court on April 8 to set a date for a preliminary hearing.
