The Honda was located by Colma officers in the area of Junipero Serra Boulevard and Serramonte Boulevard. The Daly City Police Department later located the Toyota at Gellert Park in Daly City. Both men allegedly involved in the altercation were detained.
An investigation revealed that the skirmish began when a verbal fight broke out between the victim and one of the suspects after the suspect tried to cut in front of them in a line to buy Pokemon cards. The argument turned physical when one of the suspects struck the victim in the back of the head with a glass mason jar. The second suspect then grabbed the broken shards of glass from the jar and began to stab the victim multiple times.
