NORTHERN CALIFORNIA — As we head into the new week, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.
But before we jump into Northern California's top stories, residents should expect a rainy Veterans Day and more rain later this week, according to the National Weather Service.
"Cold front moving through today brings beneficial rainfall across the region this morning and early afternoon," NWS San Francisco forecasters wrote Monday. "Conditions become quieter into Tuesday but remain cool. More rain on the way for the latter half of the week."

In other news, the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters Office was evacuated after a bomb threat that was sent by email was seen by an employee. About 100 employees who were inside counting and processing votes from Tuesday's general election were evacuated by the time sheriff's deputies responded, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office.
Police shut down eight grow houses and seized 8,234 marijuana plants in a North Bay city, authorities said. All eight properties were connected with Chinese nationals, according to police.

A structure fire displaced 12 adults and one child in the East Bay. About 40 firefighters battled the residential fire.
Two men were arrested in connection with a shooting that wounded two others at a Monterey County church. They were booked into Monterey County Jail on suspicion of multiple charges, including attempted murder.
