Daughter Of Movie Star Found Dead At Bay Area Hotel On New Year's Day: Reports

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A woman who was found dead on New Year's Day at a San Francisco Hotel is believed to be the daughter of Oscar-winning movie star Tommy Lee Jones, according to multiple media reports.
Jones' 34-year-old daughter, actress Victoria Kafka Jones, was found at the Fairmont San Francisco sometime before 3:14 a.m., according to reports from TMZ and the San Francisco Chronicle.
The cause of death has not been publicly announced. Early reports suggest no foul play is suspected and that Kafka Jones may have overdosed, according to TMZ.

In a statement to NBC News, officials at the Fairmont San Francisco said they were "deeply saddened by an incident that occurred" at the hotel on Thursday.
"Our heartfelt condolences are with the family and loved ones during this very difficult time," the hotel told NBC. "The hotel team is actively cooperating and supporting police authorities within the framework of the ongoing investigation."

Victoria was Jones' second daughter. She had small acting roles in "Men in Black II," alongside her father, and "The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, which Jones directed and starred in. Her most recent acting role came in 2014, when she appeared in "Homesman," according to IMDb.
