SAN FRANCISCO, CA — As we head into the new week, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.

But before we jump into Northern California's top stories, residents should expect a slight warming trend mid-week, according to the National Weather Service.

"Continued quiet conditions through early week," NWS San Francisco forecasters wrote Sunday. "Slight warming slated for the middle of the week with cooler temps and potential offshore wind by next weekend."

Tens of thousands of protesters turned out Saturday in cities across the San Francisco Bay Area as part of nationwide "No Kings" demonstrations against actions taken by the Donald Trump administration, including immigration raids on workplaces, courts and schools, and his expansion of executive power in several areas. Protesters gathered in public places in San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, Sonoma, and several other communities.
