Excelsior District Residents Assaulted in Home Invasion Robbery
The suspects took money, medication and papers and fled the area on foot.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Four men broke into a home in the Excelsior District Wednesday morning and assaulted and robbed the residents, police said Thursday. The home invasion robbery occurred around 11:45 a.m. when four men in their 20s and 30s forced entry into a home in the 300 block of Amazon Avenue, according to police.
The suspects, who were not armed, physically assaulted a 70-year-old woman and a 50-year-old man living there, possibly causing the women to lose consciousness, police said.
The suspects took money, medication and papers and fled the area on foot. The victim complained of pain to the neck but refused transport to the hospital.
