Woman Accused Of Kidnapping Facebook Date; Fatal Apartment Fire: NorCal In Brief

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA — As we head into the new week, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.
But before we jump into Northern California's top stories, residents should expect mild temperatures and a slight chance of rain this week, according to the National Weather Service.
"Weak cold front this morning and much better humidities today," NWS San Francisco forecasters wrote Monday. "Otherwise, quiet through the week. Light rain chances for northern areas by the end of the week."
In other news, a 22-year-old man was killed, and two youths were injured in a fire at an East Bay apartment building, fire officials said.
A three-alarm fire at an apartment complex in the North Bay left about 30 people displaced and sent a firefighter to the hospital, officials said.
Remaining evacuation orders for the Keller Fire in the Oakland Hills were expected to be fully lifted Sunday night, officials said. Two homes were damaged and about a dozen were threatened at the height of the 5-alarm blaze.
A Bay Area woman who police say robbed a man she met on Facebook was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and robbery, police said. The woman had arranged to meet the victim for a date after a series of Facebook conversations.
More than 5,000 PG&E customers were impacted by a Public Safety Power Shutoff over the weekend, according to the utility's website. PG&E warned last week that up to 28,000 customers across several counties might need to have their power shut off for safety reasons.
Plus, Monday is the deadline for California voters to register to vote in the Nov. 5 election, Secretary of State Shirley Weber announced. Anyone who misses the deadline can still participate in same day voter registration through Election Day.
