Fire at San Francisco Macy's Damages Rooftop Equipment

No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.

San Francisco, CA— San Francisco firefighters responded to a small equipment fire on the roof of Macy's Union Square early this morning.

The fire, reported shortly after midnight at the department store located at 170 O'Farrell St., was put out in less than two minutes, according to fire department spokesman Jonathan Baxter.

There were no injuries, and the only damage was to the affected equipment, Baxter said.
