Flood Warning In Effect For San Francisco

It is expected to expire at 6:45 p.m.

SAN FRANCISCO — A flood warning is in effect for San Francisco, where an atmospheric river has brought rain, including downpours, to the city.

The National Weather Service advises, "Please avoid unnecessary travel and, if you must be out, avoid flooded areas and downed power lines."

Water is flowing down streets, and surging out of manholes.
