Cardiac Incident Sends Hall Of Famer Orlando Cepeda To Hospital
San Francisco Giants' Orlando Cepeda was at a local golf course when he was sent to the hospital.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- San Francisco Giants Hall of Famer Orlando Cepeda was taken to a hospital Monday night, the team said. Cepeda, 80, became ill while he was at the Rancho Solano Golf Course in Fairfield, SFGate reported.
Team officials said Cepeda was hospitalized following a cardiac incident and remains in critical condition as of Wednesday morning.
The team asked the public to keep Cepeda and his family in their "thoughts and prayers."

Cepeda played first base for the MLB for 17 years with eight of those years in San Francisco. In 1999, he was inducted into the Fall of Fame.
