Inflatable Trump Chicken Spotted In San Francisco: Photos

The Trump Chicken, created by Danelle Morton, arrived in California last weekend.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- The 33-foot tall inflatable Trump chicken was spotted last weekend floating along San Francisco's coast. The so-called mascot created by journalist Danelle Morton was seen near Fisherman's Wharf and Alcatraz wearing a striped prison shirt.

Protester Steve Maller wrote on Twitter, "We heard cheers and whistles from all the way out on the water!" as the Trump floated by Pier 39.

"I had an amazing day today on the bay with some remarkable people doing something fun and important. #resist #trumpchicken #civildisobedience #ourpointismade," Maller wrote.

Morton wrote on Slate that she created the giant Trump chicken in protest of the president.

"Donald Trump was a big chicken for not releasing his taxes. He was the biggest chicken in the world! I wanted to fill a 60-foot Chicken Don with helium so my fellow protesters and I could march it down San Francisco’s Market Street on April 15, preceded by brass bands and followed by people in costume," Morton wrote.
