SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A criminal investigation is continuing after multiple felony charges were filed against a 28-year-old man accused of more than a dozen residential burglaries in San Francisco.

Gaspar Dzul-Canul was already facing trial for three burglaries he was accused of committing in May when prosecutors said they had allegedly discovered 14 other burglaries they believed he was responsible for, according to the San Francsico District Attorney's Office.

Prosecutors initially agreed to a pre-trial diversion program that would have let him remain free while the initial cases progressed, in which Dzul-Canul pleaded not guilty. But after the additional allegations were made, he was remanded to custody and was ordered held without bail.
