Man Falls Off Cliff After Saving Dog At Thornton Beach: Report
The incident was reported on Monday.

DALY CITY, CA -- A man reportedly died in Daly City on Monday after rescuing his dog from a cliff. KTVU reported the incident happened at Thornton State Beach in the morning.
The news station said the man, 67, died when his "dog got away from him, and he fell while going after it."
"Authorities airlifted the man's body from the bottom of a 492-foot cliff," KTVU reported. "Pictures from SkyFox showed the dog anxiously pacing on the cliff above where the body was found."
