Man Found Masturbating In Bushes At SF Park Convicted Of Indecent Exposure
He was undressed with a bottle of baby oil at his feet and a thick, white substance in his hand when officers found him, prosecutors said.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A man who was found masturbating in the bushes of a San Francisco park over the summer has been found guilty of indecent exposure, prosecutors said.
Adam Thomas Cordle, 50, will have to register as a sex offender for at least 10 years after being convicted by a jury, the San Francisco District Attorney's Office said.
Prosecutors say a woman was walking alone on a public trail at Crocker Amazon Park the morning of July 2, when she saw Cordle masturbating in some bushes.

The two made eye contact, and Cordle continued masturbating, prosecutors said.
Children were walking toward Cordle's direction, but the woman stopped them and called the police, prosecutors said.

When officers found Cordle, he was undressed with a bottle of baby oil at his feet and a thick, white substance in his hand, prosecutors said.
During the trial, the woman testified that Cordle's actions left her feeling "shocked and traumatized," prosecutors said.
“I would like to thank the jury for their service in this trial, and the witness who reported this unlawful conduct immediately to law enforcement,” District Attorney Brooke Jenkins said in a statement Thursday morning. “Mr. Cordle’s conduct was completely inappropriate and unacceptable anywhere in our city, especially in a beloved neighborhood park."
