NORTHERN CALIFORNIA — We've rounded up the stories you may have missed over the weekend to prepare you for the week ahead.
But before we jump into Northern California's top stories, residents are starting the week with wet weather.
While the bulk of this week's rainfall will be centered toward the Central Coast — where parts of the Santa Lucia Range could see up to four inches of rain — more modest precipitation is expected for much of the week in Northern California, according to the National Weather Service.

The Bay Area is expected to see a quarter inch to a half inch of rain on Monday and Tuesday, with moderate winds gusting to 20 to 30 mph across the region. A drying trend is expected to kick-in Wednesday, making for a possibly dry Thanksgiving Day.
In other news, as attention to organized retail theft continues to grow across the state, police in San Francisco say they've busted a prolific theft ring that included boys as young as 12 years old. The suspects arrested were responsible for at least 23 thefts totaling more than $84,000 in merchandise, police said.
