NORTHERN CALIFORNIA — As we head into the new week, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.

But before we jump into Northern California's top stories, residents should expect a dry spell and unseasonably warm weather this week, according to the National Weather Service.

"Cloudy today with light showers possible for the North Bay. Then, a warming and drying trend through midweek where high temperatures are roughly 10 to 15 degrees above their seasonal normals," NWS San Francisco forecasters wrote Monday. "The next chance for widespread rain may occur over the weekend."

In other news, police were looking for dash camera footage from motorists who may have been traveling in the area of the shooting of an officer this weekend. The officer was "ambushed" and shot by a gunman but survived.

Four teenagers overdosed on suspected fentanyl and two of them died, police said. A suspected drug dealer was arrested.
