Pedestrian, 51, Hospitalized Following North Beach Alleged Hit-And-Run

A 26-year-old man was arrested following the incident.

San Francisco, CA— A 51-year-old man suffered serous injuries Thursday night after a vehicle struck him as he crossed a street in San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood.

Around 10:40 p.m., officers responded to a report of a hit-and-run near Stockton and Green streets, according to police.

Officers learned a 2015 Chevy sedan struck the victim, before fleeing the scene, police said.

The victim was taken to a hospital, according to police. A 26-year-old man was arrested following the incident.
