Person Saved After Being Found Unresponsive In San Francisco Bay
The person was safely pulled out of the water, police said.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — San Francisco police are investigating how a person wound up unconscious in San Francisco Bay near Fisherman's Wharf on Saturday afternoon.
The SFPD's Marine Rescue Unit was responding to another call when crews noticed a person unresponsive in the water near Pier 43, which is at Jefferson Street and the Embarcadero.
The person was safely pulled out of the water, police said, but it remained unclear as of Sunday how they wound up in the Bay.

Anyone with information about the incident was asked to contact the SFPD at (415) 574-4444 or send a text message to TIP411 and start the message with "SFPD."
