Construction Worker Falls Off Cliff Near Coit Tower

San Francisco, CA— A construction worker who fell 50 feet off a cliff in San Francisco's Telegraph Hill neighborhood Thursday morning has been taken to San Francisco General Hospital with traumatic injuries, according to fire officials.

Fire officials reported the incident at 8:15 a.m. at 140 Chestnut St., located just north of Coit Tower.

Fire officials said the worker remained conscious after the fall. Firefighters reached him around 9:20 a.m. and brought him back up around 9:45 a.m.
