Crocker-Amazon Fire Under Control

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A one-alarm fire in San Francisco's Crocker Amazon neighborhood is under control, fire officials said. As of 2:02 p.m., a fire that started in a dryer at 20 Cordova St. was under control. No one was injured and no one will have to find temporary housing, according to fire officials.

San Francisco Fire Department officials had asked people to avoid the area Saturday afternoon as they battled the fire.
