Sunny, Warm Labor Day Expected In Bay Area

It will be sunny everywhere all three days, but temperatures will range from the upper 60s to the mid 90s depending on location.

BAY AREA — The Bay Area can look forward to a sunny and warm Labor Day weekend, according to the latest forecasts. It’s currently sweltering across much of the region, with many inland spots climbing to the upper 90s. Even parts of San Francisco saw highs of 84 Tuesday.

Onshore wind and increasing marine air depth are coming in around Thursday, giving way to more reasonable temperatures through the weekend.

If you’re planning on outdoor barbecues or picnics, you’re in luck: the fog and clouds expected Thursday and Friday will give way by Saturday, and the entire region can expect sunny or mostly sunny skies on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, particularly during the daytime hours. As always, there’s going to be a large difference in temperatures across the region, and some places are still expected to stay pretty hot.
