VALLEJO, CA — An English bulldog that was stolen from its owner at knifepoint in Vallejo on Friday, and police are asking for the public's help in locating it.

The dog was on a walk with its owner around 11:45 p.m. near the area of Marin and Kentucky streets when two people approached them, the Vallejo Police Department said.

They held the dog owner up at knifepoint and took his wallet, along with the dog, whose name is Tyson, police said. The suspects then drove off in a white four-door sedan, which may have been a Honda Accord, police said.

A $500 reward is being offered for information leading to Tyson being reunited with its owner, police said.

Tyson is white with beige coloring on his back. It does not have a microchip and it is not neutered, police said.

One of the suspects was described by police as a tall White man who was wearing a gray hat, black hair tied into two ponytails, a gray shirt and black pants at the time of the robbery.

Police said the second suspect appeared to be a Hispanic woman who was wearing a black shirt and blue jean shorts at the time.
