2025 Toy Drives In San Anselmo: Where To Donate

The holiday season is filled with joy, lights and celebration — but for some families, it can also bring stress and financial strain. Thankfully, communities like ours step up each year to help make the season brighter for every child.

Here are some places in and around San Anselmo where you can donate toys, gift cards or holiday essentials to support kids and families in need this year. Be sure to reach out directly to each organization to confirm drop-off hours, deadlines and specific items they’re requesting — most drives ask for new, unwrapped gifts.

SMART Holiday Express Toy Drive (Sonoma-Marin Rail Transit)

🎁 Accepts new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots during event.
📍 Drop-off location: SMART trains at Novato, Petaluma, Rohnert Park, and Santa Rosa stations.
📅 Saturday, December 7, 2025.
📌 Free train ride for passengers donating toys; Santa aboard select trains.

Ross Valley Fire Department Holiday Toy Drive

🎁 Accepts new, unwrapped toys benefiting children in Fairfax, San Anselmo, Ross, and Sleepy Hollow.
📍 Drop-off location: Any Ross Valley Fire Department station, including Fairfax Fire Station.
📅 Donations accepted through December 15, 2025.

🎁 Accepts new, unwrapped toys and books for local children.

🎁 Accepts new, unwrapped toys and $25–$50 gift cards for teens (Target, Ross, Amazon).
📍 Drop-off location: 680 Wilson Ave, Novato, CA.
📅 Donation hours: Dec 5 (9am–3pm), Dec 6 (12–3pm), Dec 8–10 (9am–3pm, plus Dec 10 evening 5–7pm).
