Applicants Sought For Fairfax Emergency Preparedness Committee
The Community Emergency Preparedness Committee was established earlier this year. The Town Council backed its formation in a 5-0 vote.
FAIRFAX, CA — The town of Fairfax is seeking applicants for a newly formed committee that aims to ready the community for disaster.
The Community Emergency Preparedness Committee was established earlier this year to support and help coordinate collaborative town-wide efforts to prepare residents to respond to emergencies of all kinds.
The Town Council backed the committee's formation in a 5-0 vote in May.

The town is seeking a liaison from the Town Council and the Ross Valley Fire Department, along seven members representing the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), Firewise, Neighborhood Response Group (NRG), The Fairfax Chamber of Commerce, Age Friendly Fairfax and two community at-large members.
