Bon Tempe Reservoir At Sunrise: Photos Of The Day

Patch loves photos! Share your photos with your local Patch, and your work could be featured.

MARIN COUNTY, CA — Patch reader Denise Keeler sent these images of Bon Tempe Reservoir looking serene at sunrise.

The lake is part of the Mt. Tamalpais Watershed, managed by Marin County Water.

FUN FACT: Before the reservoir was created in 1948, it was the site of a ranch and dairy operated by the three Bautunpi brothers. Bon Tempe is an Americanization of their last name.
