Close the library. This is an antiquated building. There are excellent libraries on both sides of San Anselmo. Use Fairfax and San Rafael libraries and all the other libraries in the county. Stop describing our town as "quaint, folksy, down-home, etc.

Great idea for saving money. It sounds like a much better fit for San Anselmo than the previously attempted effort with Fairfax.

Next I would hope that the elected officials have the guts to look at combining town management, councils, fire, public works etc. Long gone are the days when "local control" was an issue because of slow communications. Electronic media provides the the speed and ease of communication that really put an end to the horse and buggy days of old.
