In reviewing the 2008 RVSD Rate Increase notice - it clearly states that a portion of the proposed 2008 RVSD rate increase is to pay for the CMSA increase, with the first increase included in RVSD's 2006 increase.

As my earlier e-mail to you offered, I propose we meet one-on-one and video unedited discussions of sewer and wastewater issues affecting the Ross Valley. As you've repeatedly challenged my credibility, professionalism and capability, I propose no notes or secret hidden friends with the answers. Just you and me and a camera - And the final results presented to local TV outlets to run as they wish. Thursday, Friday or Saturday of this week around 6 will work fine. Let's discuss transparency, honesty, ethics, sewer, wastewater, Prop 218, governance, and dollar value and the ratepayers in the Ross Valley!

But the real issue isn't truth, it is manipulation and power. What is confusing is that intelligent educated Ross Valley citizens read and believe the IJ. The facts are available and stand for themselves, and if any rational person took the time, they would learn that their Ross Valley sewer district is the only thing stopping them from getting fleeced.
