Don't miss the car show, fun over the weekend!

SATURDAY:

The 'library lady,' as she is known, offers story-time for preschool and Kindergarten-aged children on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Don't miss the bi-weekly reading of childhood classics.

• Where: Fairfax Library, 2097 Sir Francis Drake Blvd, Fairfax
• Time: 11-11:30 a.m.

• Join the Fairfax Library children's staff on Tuesday and Saturday mornings for the library's preschool story-time. Recommended for children ages 3 and up, this program features the library's talented employees reading modern and classic children's books appropriate for the preschool set. Toddlers will love these half-hour storytelling sessions and it's a great way to get kids to appreciate books from a young age! More information on the library's website.

SUNDAY:

The event of the weekend is the annual car show in Fairfax. This yearly event is held downtown and showcases classic cars from around the area. In addition, the Golden Gate Brass band will be playing in the park in the afternoon.

• Where: Broadway Boulevard and Bolinas Road, Fairfax, CA 
• Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• On Sunday, join fellow Fairfax auto-enthusiasts for the 8th annual Fairfax Car Show. Presented by the Rotary Club of Ross Valley, this is a class gathering of classic cars. Proceeds from the show benefit Fairfax and San Anselmo youth groups.
