FAIRFAX, CA — The town of Fairfax is seeking Artist-in-Residence applicants.
The town aims to hire a third AIR for a two-year term to fill a position vacated by Georgia Gibbs, who recently completed a two-year term.
The town’s current Artist-in-Residence Collaborative members are, Stephanie Mohan, a photographer and local Fairfax businesswoman, and sculptor and artist Susan Pascal Beran.

“The position is open to all types of artists (graphic, multi-media, sculptor, culinary, etc.) with preferences given to those who can work in a collaborative environment and demonstrate proficiency in computer skills,” town officials said in a statement.
“The purpose of the position is to bring the creative experience to the residents of Fairfax.”
