Fairfax Council Holds Number of Public Hearings

Town council will meet tonight to hold a number of public hearings and update on budget.

The Fairfax Town Council will meet tonight at 7 p.m. at the Women's Club. On the agenda:

  • The council will meet in closed session at 6 p.m. with legal counsel on the Berg lawsuit and other pending litigation.
  • Presentation of the results of the sale of Measure K bonds.
  • Appoint member to CittaSlow Committee.
  • Approve Little League Parade, National Library Week, Fair Housing Month, and car show.
  • Authorize agreements to sign contract for $25,000 for bike spine and $10,000 for a zero waste grant.
  • Hearing on 39 Wood Lane declaring a public nuisance.
  • Hearing on 407 Cascade Drive on electrical permit for a shed.
  • Hearing on 62 Valley Road appealling the Design Review Board's decision.
  • Adopt the Association of Bay Area Government natural disaster and local hazard mitigation plan.
  • Update on mid-year budget review and RFP process for local banks.
