Fairfax Police: Injured Dog Trying to Get Inside, Tires Slashed, Assault on Hidden Valley Trail

Thursday, July 7

Animal: There seemed to be an injured dog trying to get in the front door on Olema Road at 12:06 a.m. It appeared ill or injured.

Noise: There was noise from an idling cement truck at Fairfax Lumber and Hardware at 6:57 a.m.

Noise: There was a leafblower at Forrest and Summer Avenues at 10:33 a.m.

Noise: Drums were being played on Cascade Drive at 11:50 a.m. This is an ongoing issue.

Citizen Assist: A resident came in for elimination fingerprints for a prior case.

Suspicious Person: A subject was walking up the driveway of a residence on Tamalpais Road and appeared to be casing their bikes at 3:59 p.m.

Noise: The Little League was too loud at 5:43 p.m.

Noise: There was loud music from a van at the Fairfax Coin Carwash.

Wednesday, July 6

Vandalism: A resident’s tire was cut or possibly slashed during the night on Sequoia Road.

Civil Problem: A resident wanted to speak to an officer about a property line dispute.

Citizen Assist: A resident came in to supply a set of elimination fingerprints for her burglary case.

Assist Outside Agency: There was a walk-in report of an assault on Hidden Valley Trail. The assault was in the sheriff’s jurisdiction.

Town Code Violation: There was an anonymous report of a dog off-leash at Manzanita and Frustuck Roads at 6:01 p.m.

Barking Dog: A dog on Piper Lane was reported to bark excessively.

Disturbance: An intoxicated subject was at a residence on Porteous Avenue causing problem at 11:15 p.m.

Tuesday, July 5

Suspicious Person: A subject was causing a disturbance and trying to pick a fight at Fair-Anselm Plaza at 2:30 a.m.

Sleeper: There was a subject sleeping on Willow Avenue at 6:08 a.m.

Hazard: There was water flowing heavily down the front stairs of a house on Scenic Road and into the street.

Traffic Complaint: There was a reckless driver running stop signs on Bolinas Road at 12:19 p.m.

Insanity Case: A resident reported her sister has gone missing.

Suspicious Circumstances: A woman left two small children in a car at the Fairfax Library at 1:26 p.m.

Animal: A resident reported that her dog fled the house the night before, from the fireworks noise, and has not been seen since.

Noise: There was a complaint of loud music going on from the night before to 5 p.m. on Frustuck Avenue.

Fraud: A resident reported he is the victim of credit card fraud.

Noise: The PA system at the Little League is excessively loud.

Traffic Complaint: There was a reckless driver on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 6:27 p.m.

Lost/Stolen: A resident was missing her front license plate.

Noise: There has been a loud compressor in the area of Bolinas Road and Elsie Lane for 40 minutes.

Parking Complaint: There were numerous parking violations on Willow Avenue.

Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity on Bolinas Road at 11:14 p.m. with a car missing its plate.

Town Code Violation: An officer was out with a subject in Peri Park at 11:56 p.m.
