Giving Tuesday is a global initiative that brings people together to harness the potential of collective generosity. Fortunately for folks in the San Anselmo-Fairfax area, there’s no shortage of organizations nearby that could greatly benefit from your support.

Here are five outstanding organizations in the San Anselmo-Fairfax area. Please consider volunteering or donating to them for Giving Tuesday and beyond.


  1. San Anselmo Historical Museum — The San Anselmo Historical Museum, affiliated with the San Anselmo Historical Commission and the Town of San Anselmo, is dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of San Anselmo.   2. Fairfax-San Anselmo Children's Center — Fairfax-San Anselmo Children's Center provides childcare, educational and supportive services for children and families in the Fairfax and San Anselmo area. The center focuses on early childhood development and education. Learn more at fsacc.org.
  3. The YES Foundation — The YES Foundation, formerly the Ross Valley Schools Foundation, was established to address reduced state funding for public education, especially in the arts. Its mission is to secure funding for comprehensive educational programs, focusing on arts and ensuring equitable access for all Ross Valley School District students. Little Wishes — Little Wishes, a nonprofit founded by pediatric nurses in 2003, grants wishes to seriously ill, hospitalized children, helping them find joy and control during their challenging journeys.
