Homicide Suspect Arrested In Marin
Hugo Avelinomedina, 34 of Fairfield, was arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the killing of a 26-year-old woman, police said.
SAN RAFAEL, CA — A North Bay homicide suspect was arrested in San Rafael last week, the Fairfield Police Department said.
Hugo Avelinomedina, 34 of Fairfield was arrested in connection with the killing of a 26-year-old woman according to police.
He was booked into Solano County jail on suspicion of murder, other domestic violence-related charges, and a probation violation according to police.

Officers found the victim deceased after responding to a report of a domestic violence incident Thursday at around 11 a.m. in the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, police said.
The California Highway Patrol located the vehicle in San Rafael and Fairfield detectives with the assistance of local authorities located Avelinomedina, police said.

The Marin County Sheriff’s Office and the San Rafael Police Department helped Fairfield officer in locate Avelinomedina, authorities said.
