Loud Booms Rattle Marin: Report
There have been at least six explosions that have caused disturbances in the past month, the Marin County Sheriff's Office said.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — Some San Geronimo Valley residents have complained of hearing loud boom sounds at night, and authorities have taken notice.
The Marin County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that there have been at least six explosions that have caused disturbances in the past month, ABC 7 reports.
The most recent explosion occurred Sunday at around 10 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office told the television station.

A deputy in the area found evidence that that explosive device had damaged a large tree, the report said.
"It's a really disturbing sound and it's scary to hear that when it's like 8 p.m. on any given night,” San Geronimo Valley resident Cristina Peralta told ABC 7.

“I hope who is ever setting them off, if they are explosives, to maybe find another spot to do it, or maybe to stop because it's really freaking a lot of the neighbors out."
