Marin To Hold Climate Action Workshops

The program is free for Marin residents.

SAN RAFAEL, CA — The city of San Rafael is holding summer workshops that aim to help the community reduce its carbon footprint.

The Resilient Neighborhoods is presenting two five-session Climate Action Workshops, the first of which starts later this week. The two-hour workshops will be held virtually.

“Have fun calculating your carbon footprint and taking steps to reduce it,” city officials said in a statement promoting the workshops.

“You’ll achieve measurable results and help build a stronger and safer community. More than 1,800 Marin residents have already reduced more than 10 million pounds of CO2 pollution through the program.”

The Thursday series starts this week and meeting from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The Wednesday series starts June 29 and meeting from 4 to 6 p.m.
