Marin Murder Suspect Arrested: Cops
The shooting, reported at around 10:35 p.m. June 4, occurred near the Medway Road and Mill Street intersection in San Rafael, police said.
SAN RAFAEL, CA — A suspect was arrested Wednesday in connection with a fatal San Rafael shooting earlier this month, police said.
Alan Estuardo Aceitu Perez, 20 of Novato, was arrested on suspicion of murder and booked at the Marin County Jail, the San Rafael Police Department said.
Erick Boliver Mendez Vasquez, 33 of San Rafael, was identified by authorities as the victim of the June 4 shooting, the Marin County Sheriff’s Office coroner division said.

The shooting, which was reported at around 10:35 p.m., occurred near the intersection of Medway Road and Mill Street (near the 7-Eleven store), police said.
An SRPD probe led investigators to identify Aceitu Perez as the suspect, police said.

Aceitu Perez was located
The San Rafael and Novato police departments and the Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday launched a search for Aceitu Perez, and they located the suspect at around 8 p.m. in the 500 block of Alameda Del Prado in Novato, police said.
Aceitu Perez was arrested without incident, police said.
