Marin Women’s Empowerment Event Focuses On Financial Health

SAN RAFAEL, CA — The San Rafael Chamber of Commerce will hold a women’s empowerment in business series event next month focusing on financial health.

The Aug. 25 event will be held virtually from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m.

The event is being held amid growing concerns among women about their finances.

Nearly six in 10 women expressed concerns about their financial security according to a MetLife poll cited in the chamber's announcement of the event.

The economic impact of the pandemic and the availability of childcare are among the chief concerns.

Aideen Gaidmore, Executive Director of the Marin Child Care Council will discuss why childcare is essential for parents and employers.

Admission to the event is $20.
