New Gym Rocks Marin

SAN RAFAEL, CA — Looking to shake your quarantine 15 without the drudgery of a treadmill?

A new Marin gym may be your answer.

Gravity Vault opened over the summer as Marin’s first climbing gym.

The 18,000-square foot facility located at 440 Smith Ranch Road in San Rafael held its grand opening in late August.

The facility features two 10-meter speed walls and 4,000 square feet of bouldering among many other amenities including dedicated spaces for yoga, cardio and weight training.

The new gym offers programs for all ages including kids and introductory rock climbing classes. Day passes are available.
