New San Anselmo Taproom Readies For Opening

SAN ANSELMO, CA — A San Francisco-based brewery/winemaker is headed to Marin.

Woods Beer & Wine Co. plans to open later this year at 649 San Anselmo Ave., the site of the former Goodwill store.

“Woods is coming to the North Bay!” the company wrote on its website.

“We are so excited to announce that we will be breaking ground on our newest outpost in Downtown San Anselmo later this year.”

Woods currently has four San Francisco locations and also plans to open a Treasure Island location later this month, The San Francisco Chronicle reports.

The craft beverage producers are known for their propensity to experiment, the report said.

“We can't wait to share our craft beer and natural wine creations with our friends just across the bridge,” the company wrote on its website.
