San Anselmo Nonprofit Names New CEO

SAN ANSELMO, CA — A Marin nonprofit that serves at-risk youth and their families will soon have a new executive leader.

Side by Side Youth announced the appointment of Dr. Christine Isana Garcia as its new CEO.

The group operates throughout the Bay Area, providing young people ages 5 to 26 and family members with critical services that span behavioral and mental health, early intervention in schools, LGBTQIA+ support, transitional housing for foster youth, and special education.

Garcia’s appointment goes into effect Oct. 1.
