San Anselmo Police: Juveniles Out and About, Lost Dog, Leafblower Violations

Thursday, July 21

Juveniles: There were juveniles on the roof of a building on Butterfield Road at 12:25 a.m.

Animal: There were dogs on school property on Ross Avenue without permission.

Sleeper: A car was parked on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard with someone sleeping inside at 8:46 a.m.

Animal: There were two dogs off leash on Crescent Road at 11:17 a.m.

Municipal Code Violation: There was a leaf blower in use on Tamalpais Avenue at 4:41 p.m. outside of permitted hours.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking on Toyon Drive at 10:48 p.m.

Disturbing the Peace: There was a dispute between a parent and child on Hawthorne Avenue at 11:04 p.m.

Wednesday, July 20

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident believed a subject was entering his residence and using his shower on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 8:33 a.m.

Suspicious Person: A subject was trying to pick-up a false prescription on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 3:41 p.m.

Juveniles: Two juveniles were running and skateboarding on the roof of a building on Ross Avenue at 5:06 p.m.

Petty Theft: A bike was stolen three weeks ago on San Anselmo Avenue.

Animal: A resident reported that her dogs were missing on Upper Road West. They later returned.

Noise: There was a loud party on Santa Cruz Avenue at 9:47 p.m.

Tuesday, July 19

Municipal Code Violation: There was a leafblower violation on Monterey Avenue at 9:27 a.m.

Advice Given: There was an ongoing neighbor dispute over parking and construction on Crescent Road.

Grand Theft: A resident reported a stolen bike on Greenfield Avenue.

Accident – No Injury: There was a two-vehicle accident at San Anselmo and Bolinas Avenues at 4:36 p.m.

Public Intoxication: A man was walking against traffic on Red Hill Avenue and was unsteady on his feet at 7:12 p.m. He was arrested for public intoxication and probation violation.

Noise: There was loud music on Rutherford Avenue at 9:46 p.m.

Suspicious Vehicle: There was an unoccupied car with its hazard lights on on San Anselmo Avenue at 10:01 p.m.

Noise: There was a group of loud subjects on Ross Avenue at 10:31 p.m.

Juveniles: A group of juveniles set off fireworks and were skateboarding in the area of Saunders Avenue at 11:14 p.m.

Juveniles: There was a group of juveniles on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 11:22 p.m. Officers contacted four juveniles, who were picked up by parents.

Monday, July 18

Suspicious Circumstances: A woman came to a residence on Ross Avenue at 3:23 a.m. and said she had nowhere to go.

Hazard: Tree branches were leaning closely to the road on Hillside Avenue.

Disturbing the Peace: There was an altercation between a resident and a female who had scratched her on Crescent Road, but it was later deemed to be an accident. While on scene, a male subject feel and medical responded.

Municipal Code Violation: There was a leafblower violation on Tamalpais Avenue.

Wires Down: A resident reported that she drove over wires that were lying in the street on Center Boulevard at 11:38 a.m.

Animal: There was a lost dog on Merced Avenue.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident reported that a suspicious cable man was requesting the resident return equipment.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident believed she heard someone on her porch on Redwood Road at 11:12 p.m. Officers didn’t find anyone or anything disturbed.
