San Anselmo Police: Loud Parties, Laptops Stolen from Two Homes, Shots Heard

Sunday, July 10
Noise: There was a loud group in the street on Myrtle Avenue at 1:16 a.m.
Driving without a License: At a traffic stop on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 1:30 a.m., a man was cited and released for driving without a valid license.

Public Intoxication: Following a check of a business on Greenfield Avenue at 1:46 a.m., a man was arrested and booked into the county jail for public intoxication.
Noise: There was a loud party on Redwood Road at 3:40 a.m.

Petty Theft: An unlocked bike was stolen on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.
Threats: A resident reported her neighbor was threatening her on San Anselmo Avenue at 2:53 p.m.
Temporary Restraining Order: There was a possible restraining order violation on Butterfield Road at 9:59 p.m. Officers found there was no violation.
Noise: There was a loud group on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 10:09 p.m.
Suspicious Circumstances: A resident reported she was assaulted by a friend. Officers made contact with both parties and determined the resident was intoxicated and it was a verbal altercation only.
Saturday, July 9
Animal: There was a howling dog in the area of Sais Avenue at 8:41 a.m.
Barking Dog: Two dogs were barking for over four hours on Elm Avenue.
Driving Under the Influence: There was a possible drunk driver on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 3:30 p.m.
Accident – No Injury: There was a non-injury collision at Austin Avenue and Waverly Road at 5:47 p.m.
Vandalism: A subject was spray-painting in the street on Woodland Avenue at 7:33 p.m. Officers contacted the subject, who was not actively spray-painting at the time.
Friday, July 8
Shots Fired: There was a loud booming sound in the area of San Anselmo Avenue and Redwood Road at 12:19 a.m.
Animal: A resident reported hearing a sound like a swarm of bees in the wall of her home on Tamal Avenue at 2:28 a.m.
Vehicle Tampering: Two cars had gasoline siphoned out on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.
Reckless Driving: A car ran two red lights on Red Hill Avenue at 12:48 p.m.
Suspicious Person: There were two suspicious subjects on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 1:35 p.m.
Petty Theft: Gas was siphoned out of three cars on Luna Lane and one of the car’s keys were stolen as well.
Grand Theft: Golf clubs were taken from a car on Foss Avenue.
Animal: A dog was tied to a pole on San Anselmo Avenue at 6:20 p.m.
Hit and Run: A woman reported she was involved in a hit and run on Ross Avenue at 6:32 p.m.
Hit and Run: A woman reported she was involved in a hit and run with property damage at Cedar and Pine Streets at 6:35 p.m.
Solicitor: There was a woman soliciting on Woodland Avenue at 8:01 p.m.
Burglary: A home was broken into and a laptop stolen on Sais Avenue.
