San Anselmo Police: People Talking Loudly, Runaway Dog Found, Hot Tub Turned Off

Thursday, July 7
Noise: There were loud vehicles at Grove Lane and San Anselmo Avenue at 12:12 a.m.
Petty Theft: A bike was stolen from Woodland Avenue sometime during the past week.

Municipal Code Violation: A resident was draining a hot tub over a fence on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 2:36 p.m. Officer was unable to contact the responsible, but got access to the backyard through an unlocked gate and turned off the water.
Found: A bike was found on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 3:16 p.m.

Disturbance: Subjects were involved in an altercation in a car at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Redhill Avenue at 5:26 p.m.
Disturbance: There was a disturbance at a business on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 6:28 p.m.
Suspicious Person: There was an intoxicated subject on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 6:46 p.m.
Animal: There were multiple reports of a deer hit in the road on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.
Road Rage: A driver was yelling profanities out the window at the Hub and driving recklessly at 7:08 p.m.
Juveniles: A group of juveniles was throwing water balloons at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Bolinas Avenue at 11:04 p.m.
Wednesday, July 6
Animal: A deer was hit by a car on Redhill Avenue at 1:07 a.m.
Missing Person: There was an adult missing from a residence on Mariposa Avenue at 12:11 p.m. Staff later located the subject.
Animal: A dog inside a car on San Anselmo Avenue appeared to be in distress at 1:18 p.m.
Suspicious Circumstances: A resident reported that she works on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and was followed by an unknown person and has been receiving threatening phone calls.
Vandalism: A side window on a car was broken on San Francisco Boulevard at 7:20 p.m.
Disturbing the Peace: Subjects were involved in a verbal altercation on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 8:13 p.m.
Barking Dog: A dog was barking at a residence on Woodside Drive at 8:29 p.m.
Attempted Suicide: A resident reported that his friend made suicidal statements, but officers located the subject and determined there was no merit.
Noise: A resident reported a loud noise that she believes to be associated with the theft of recyclable on Smith Lane at 9:15 p.m.
Barking Dog: There was a dog barking on Redwood Road at 10:48 p.m.
Juveniles: A group of juveniles was throwing things at passing cars on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 11:32 p.m.
Tuesday, July 5
Noise: There was a group of people talking loudly outside on Park Drive at 1:07 a.m.
Barking Dog: A dog was barking on Sais Avenue at 8:36 a.m.
Municipal code Violation: A resident was keeping trashcans on the sidewalk on Calumet Avenue at 9:13 a.m.
Found: A broken jewelry box was found in the street on Austin Avenue at 11:20 a.m.
Animal: A resident reported her dog got loose from her residence on Spruce Grove Avenue at 2:25 p.m.
Animal: A dog was locked in a car on Shaw Drive at 2:45 p.m. Officers responded and found the dog was not in distress and had water and the windows were down.
Suspicious Person: A strange subject kept coming into a business on San Anselm Avenue.
Animal: There was a loose dog at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Ross Avenue at 6:46 p.m., who matched the description of a dog reported lost earlier.
Suspicious Circumstances: A resident reported smelling something possibly deceased coming from a residence on Forrest Avenue at 7:45 p.m. Officers determined the smell was coming from farther down and was probably an animal.
Animal: A resident reported that a dog tried to attack him and jump over the rear fence of his property on Broadmoor Avenue and was barking all day.
Family Disturbance: There was an out of control juvenile on Hawthorne Avenue at 11:33 p.m.
