San Anselmo Police Win Award for Design of Police Cars
Department takes home first place for the community design of the new cars.
The San Anselmo Police Department recently won an award from Law and Order Magazine for the best design of a police vehicle. There were over 300 entries in the contest.
The new design, which can be seen on all San Anselmo police cars, took home first place in the West Division for departments with less than 50 officers.
"The decals on this vehicle have a great story behind them, and we like that they have a significance to the community," wrote the judges.

On the side of the cars the town logo, with the seminary silhouetted against Mt. Tam, is featured along with the motto, "One community, one goal."
