San Anselmo Seeks Feedback On Rental Policies

Two upcoming forums will give neighbors a chance to weigh in on housing policies, including rent stabilization and eviction protections.

SAN ANSELMO, CA — The San Anselmo Town Council has scheduled two public forums in the coming weeks to give residents a chance to share their opinions on residential rental policies, including discussing existing laws and ways to build on them.

The first community discussion is scheduled for mid-September and will focus on tenant questions and concerns. An October meeting will field questions and concerns from landlords. Discussion topics will include potential rent stabilization policies and enhanced eviction protections.

Both meetings will take place in the council chambers and are open to the public, with remote participation available via Zoom. Officials said the goal of the forums is to hear from all San Anselmo residents about what the council should or should not consider moving forward. The input will be collected into a report presented to the council in late October.
