Downtown Robber Gets Year in Jail
A San Mateo County Superior Court judge also gave the man three years probation for holding up two liquor stores in downtown San Bruno in August 2011.

A San Mateo County Superior Court judge on Friday sentenced a 23-year-old man who held up two downtown stores to a year in county jail, the district attorney's office said.
Anthony Tyrone Redwood, 23, in January after being caughtΒ on surveillance video robbing two liquor stores with a fake gun in separate Aug. 15 and 18 incidents.Β Witnesses told police Redwood wore a mask and brandished a weapon, although authorities later determined the gun wasn't real.
Judge Craig Parsons also gave Redwood, a convicted felon,Β three years probation following his incarceration.
