Got Hazmat? There's a Pick-Up Service For That

Thanks to a new collection program by the South Bayside Waste Management Authority (RethinkWaste), door-to-door household hazardous waste collection is available to all San Bruno residents.

Properly dispose of paint, solvents, insecticides, cleaning products, fluorescent lamps, laptops, computer monitors and more by scheduling a pickup by calling call 1-800-HHW-PKUP (800-449-7587), or www.RethingWaste.org. 

There are no limits on the number of appointments residents can schedule, and there is no separate fee for using this service. San Bruno residents will be receiving a postcard in mid-July for easy reference.
