Got Hazmat? There's a Pick-Up Service For That
Residents can have their old cans of paint, solvents, and other hazardous waste picked up right from their curb.

WrittenΒ byΒ Joan S. Dentler:
Thanks to a new collection program by the South Bayside Waste Management Authority (RethinkWaste),Β door-to-door household hazardous waste collection is available to all San Bruno residents.
Properly dispose of paint, solvents, insecticides, cleaning products, fluorescent lamps, laptops, computerΒ monitors and more by scheduling a pickup by callingΒ call 1-800-HHW-PKUP (800-449-7587), orΒ www.RethingWaste.org.Β
There are no limits on the number of appointments residents can schedule, andΒ there is no separate fee for using this service. San BrunoΒ residents will be receiving a postcard in mid-July for easy reference.
