Know Someone Who Is a Whiz Kid or Great Person?

Here, at San Bruno Patch, we like to highlight the good things happening in our community, not just bad news or the local controversies.

That is why we continually run profiles. We've also started running a new profile series, called (formerly ).

We're able to do these profiles because people in the community often give us tips about whom to interview. Nearly all of the time, these turn out to be great stories about awesome people in San Bruno.

We'd like to do more of these profiles (on a weekly or monthly basis, if possible), which is why we'll often promote this post on the homepage.

Your responses will help keep these profiles going.

Check back weekly for this post and nominate someone who you think should be featured in a story. If you've ever said to yourself, "Someone should interview that person. She has a great story to tell," then this would be the way to make that happen.

After you fill out the form (think iReport), someone will follow up with you, and on Wednesdays, we'll post the profile on either a whiz kid or a greatest person.
